DONATIONS FROM 2024 & 2025

Funds raised in 2025 have made a direct impact on paediatric care at Werribee Mercy Hospital, enabling purchase of a Vscan Air Venue Go ultrasound system.  Mercy Health shared that this ultrasound is "very much needed for the care of children in the Paediatrics Unit.  It will enable easier diagnosis, easier insertion of needles into small arms, and is agile enough to be used across the ward in all the rooms.  It also uses AI to help with diagnosis and treatment".   The Paediatrics team are very excited about the availability of this technology, recognising that it will drive better outcomes for children and support the care that clinicians can provide.

In 2024, funds contributed to the purchase of four AIRVO machines at Werribee Mercy Hospital, advanced respiratory support devices that assist children with breathing difficulties, further enhancing the hospital's ability to provide critical care to young patients.

AUSTRALIAN ROTARY HEALTH

Australian Rotary Health is a national not-for-profit organisation established in 1981 by Rotary clubs across Australia, dedicated to improving health outcomes through research, education, and community initiatives.  It focuses on funding innovative medical and mental health research, with a particular emphasis on projects that might otherwise struggle to attract government and commercial support.

Donations to Australian Rotary Health in 2024 and 2025 are being directed to research "Improving the Mental Health of 0-12 year olds".
